Hot Air Balloons

One thing I love is to wake up and see hot air balloons over head. This morning was a special treat with over 25 balloons flying. More are coming right now :) It was hard to take photos of so many but here are a few.

Do not text and drive

This is a very graphic PSA about texting while driving. I think it is worth passing along just to increase awareness at how dangerous it really is, or anything that takes your eyes off the road even for a minute.

Trip to Bend

We made a last minute trip to Bend so Chris could get some things done. First was to get his old car running. Then we spent Sunday relaxing on Prineville Res with his parents. We brought the boat and trolled around trying to catch a fish. Chris caught a nice trout, I had one bite & that was it. Better luck next time with the fishing, but it couldn't have been a nicer day.

Weekend with friends

The Michael Family came over for a visit before the busy school season begins. It was so much fun to have a sleep over & have time to catch up. We don't get to spend nearly enough time together now that we live in Albany.

Josiah celebrated his 6 month b-day with a photo session at the park. He is amazing! He loves to walk around already holding your hands. I know Austin never did this at such a young age.

Camping

I only took about 5 pictures the whole weekend, so I am going to link to Becky's blog. She does a great job and we we're together for the trip :)

My new favorite things

If you like to clean and not scrub a lot try this. My Mom said it worked, but I had to try it for myself. I will no longer clean the BBQ with anything else Now this is a yummy chocolate treat. Gotta try one!

Austin, Dakota and I met the family in Newport yesterday for a quick day trip. They've been there all week fishing & Chris had to work so what better place to spend a hot inland day but at the coast where it is cool. It was the perfect temperature (for the Oregon coast) & Austin even got to stay there for the night. He was really excited to "camp" and I barely even got a good bye kiss. I can tell he'll miss me :)
