Evan's first taste of chocolate

This was just to funny not to post.  He wasn't sure what to think at first but then got the taste of something sweet and cold on his gums. I'm sure it felt nice where his two top teeth are coming in.  He didn't eat the entire thing, but close to half all by himself.  Oh and Mom, I didn't eat it after him. It went in the garbage...I know you would have :)

Happy Birthday Chris

Friday Chris turned 31!  His parents came to town for a few days so he decided to take his birthday off so we could all go to the tulip festival and Bauman farms.  It turned out to be a gorgeous day. The wind was a little brisk, but once it stopped it warmed up nicely.  We then celebrated his birthday again today, which was the original date of his party.  It was complete with smoked ribs, chicken and all the fixings.
