Recent Events

Becky gave her cousin Laura a baby shower on Friday and we had a fun day helping out.  Austin of course made lots of new friends and got to play at both Becky's Aunts and parents house from 11-6:30.  The shower was a hit with about 52 people in attendance.  Or at least that is how many name tags we counted that were missing.

Today we headed off for a drive to Independence. Who knew such a small town had so much to offer.  We looked through the Saturday market and bought homemade soap. The couple at the soap booth also gave Austin these 2 large magnetic balls just for fun.  Then we stopped by "Andy's Diner" where Austin colored a picture that made it on the bulletin board.  One of the waitresses also gave him fresh raspberries and cherries to eat.  I have never been to a place where everyone is so friendly. 

On our way back home we took a ferry across the Willamette River.
