Our lucky day

Austin and I went to the OSU Sheep barn today to try and witness a birth of a lamb. To my amazement we actually got to watch one!  I will spare the graphic pictures and just show you the little guy on the ground.  Austin was facinated and wanted to stay there the whole day watching for another one.  Baby lambs are sure cute.  The ewe in the back was trying to steel him and was right there the entire time.  Staff had to fence off the mom and baby so they could be alone. That did not make the intruder very happy.  I didn't know older ewes would steal other ewes lambs.

I like the little black ones. This is one of twins.  Do you think the mom would miss him if I took him home?
