For the 4th of July weekend we headed with some friends (thank you Marcie and Matt for the invite) to a campground east of Roseburg. It was an annual get together for Marcie's friends. Total we had 34 people, counting the kids of course. It was a lot of fun to meet new people and go to a new place. The weather was great & the only downside was the camp & surround area was full of poison oak. It is amazing that no one (that I know of) ended up getting a rash from it. I know we all walked right in it along the river trail & there was really no possible way to keep the kids out of it. Evan was a little difficult to entertain since he wanted to crawl everywhere, but the ground is just not a good place for an 11 month old. So he was either held, in the back pack (was a life saver!), the play pen or in the trailer. Dakota enjoyed a few dips inside the river too. He got off his rope one time when we were away on a hike (I can't tie very good knots) but thankfully he went for a swim and then waited for us by the trailer. What a good dog.

The camp
to the left was a big pavillion complete with lights & outside BBQ grills.
The bathrooms also had running water and flushable toilets. The only thing missing is a hot shower.
